So, the name of this particular entry is fitting in more than one way I guess. Yes, it has to do with a funny little something about Brianna, but it could also apply to myself lately. I've been somewhat missing in action this week...and I have to say sorry to anybody whose gotten used to having a daily little blurb. It's just been kind of crazy lately, you know, holiday stuff and whatnot other things, and I've found that I have no energy or time at the end of the day to devote to blogging. But, seeing as how it's been 4 whole days (unheard of for me to go that long!) I figure I need to catch up. So, yes, I'm back-blogging here. There's no use pretending I actually wrote this one on Monday (even though I'll date it as that)....
Once again, I find myself amused by something Bree does that is in fact, just perfectly normal. I know I wouldn't be smirking if anyone ELSE said it, but, coming from my baby it strikes me as funny. I think because even though she's learning words so quickly and says so many things, she still communicates a lot through whining, or grunting, or pointing, and I can remember the days when that was all she did. Well, I suppose those days are pretty much over since one of the last situations she used to whine and/or cry she's now using words in. And that is when she can't find me. Like I said, up until very recently she'd just start whining if she couldn't find me, or something she wanted, and I was out of the room. But these days now it's, "Mom, where are you? O Mom! Where are you?!" (Or, Dolly or Bear, or hat where are you?!) Which, is a perfectly rational and normal thing to do but for some reason it makes me smile every time... It did make my friend Hannah smile too though the other day. Bree and I had met up with her and Kadyn for a little shopping and hanging out. Well, we got to the toy section of TJ Maxx and the four of us all just kind of wandered around those 3 aisles, with Hannah and I popping our heads around to check on the kids occasionally. At one point, I couldn't see Bree but I could hear her when she suddenly decided she needed to know where we were. Instead of calling for me though she yells out, "O Hannah! Where are you?!" :)
